A Much Needed GNO

What would I ever do with out my sisters?!
Probably be more crazy then I already am ;)
On Mother's Day my dad gave each of us a gift card to get a pedicure. We were FINALLY able to put it to use... Cute toes hu?

We also grabbed a bite at the new Costa Vida in PG,

And then went to see Something Borrowed, not sure how I feel about the plot BUT the movie was dang funny and the main actor was very attractive. (Brandon can have his Katy Perry, I got me a new celebrity crush haha)

We had many attempts to get a good picture (we are kind special late at night) but finally managed to balance the camera on something and got the timer workin right. I think our attempt at taking pictures with my camera's timer, while balancing it on a box of candy, was the funniest part of our night.

The craziest part of our night had to be when we left the movie theater. We were standing outside talking when we heard these 13 year old girls talking, it seemed like they were in some kind of cat fight and we started listening thinking it was kinda funny. Then we realized that they weren't in a fight but these two mean girls were bullying these two other girls. The mean girls walked away and went inside and we asked the other girls what was going on, because what the mean girls were saying was pretty bad! The other girls almost started bawling and told us they had no idea who those girls were but they were harassing them the WHOLE time during the movie. Then the mean girls followed the other girls out of the movie and continued saying mean things to them and harassing them. Well, two of my sisters went inside the theater and told the mean girls to stop being brats and that they needed to tell the other girls sorry. The mean girls came outside and gave the most pathetic apology ever to the other girls. At the same time one of the mean girls mom pulled up and they jumped in the van. One of my sisters went up to the mom and told her what happened. The mom gave a blank stare and said, "ok." and that was that.
I am shocked that stuff like that really goes on, not only in America but in my little neighborhood! You hear of bullies on the news but I just couldn't believe my eyes and ears that these tiny little 13 year old girls had SO much malice that they felt the urge to viciously hurt another one of their peers. I know a lot of people would have written it off as none of their business but I am glad that we didn't. No one deserves to be bullied and I am proud that I have sisters that do what they think is right.

The bullies aside, it was a great night. Amy just had her 3rd, Jamie has her 3, Jen is working full-time and in school, and I am working with 2 kids and sick... so we all really really were needing a night out to talk and talk and talk, be pampered, laugh until we cry, and just enjoy being sisters. I am so glad that Irey and Reese have each other because I don't know what in the world I would do with out my three best friends! Every girls should have a sister;)

Girl's nights and guy's nights are such blessings. It's nice to be around women who can share your same emotions and I like that it gives me a chance to act like a girl. Guys need their time so they can get their gas out and not have to hear us wives talk for a few hours.

It's so nice to have family close by to have experiences like these and can stand up for the same cause when it arises. I hate bullies, I have always been one to speak my mind when someone is getting bullied because it's not fair at all. I'm sure those girls were so grateful that you stood up for them! Go Schroeppels!
