Two!

Irelyn turned two and April 28th!

I Still can't believe how fast the time has gone! It's like she was never even a new born. All I can remember is this crazy toddler, was there even life before my world became consumed with Irey time?

For her Birthday we had a big bash and all the family and some friends came! It was a lot of fun to have everyone there!

Irey got WAY too spoiled, but I guess that's what brithdays are for!? Mimi (gma Blackwell) gave her some fun sacrament books that I am sure will save my life. As well as some cute dresses, more toys then a child should have, and a darling rocking horse that stole the show!

 

Gma Jackie and Papa Mark got Irey some dang cute outfits (at my request) that you will soon be seeing in pictures to come. Irey adores modling for the camera.

 

Aunt Amy got Irey some darling dress up shoes, that Irey wont take off (thanks Ams) and a cute dress up outfit complete with headband that Irey also will not take off (again thanks).

Aunt Jamie got Irey a Barbie coloring book with crayons (which dont come off walls, thanks James) and a hair princess kit complete with blow dryer (that really blows air), flatiron, lipstick, curling iron, and purfume. It's totally Irey!

 

Kels and Murr got Irey a darling swim suit and toys for some fun in the sun! We are ready for summer!

Lisa and Gar got Irey bubbles, side walk chalk, and playdough! All a two year old needs for a day full of entertainment, I know that will be a blessing!

 

Mom and dad (aka: Kylie and Brandon) got Irey some dress ups, and pretties, along with a princess camera that flashes when you "take a picture" (she obsessed with cameras, wonder why?). We also had Irey's VERY talented Uncle Luke make Irey a toy box (she is sitting in it in pic above). Now we have a place to keep the toys organized, wishful thinking, I know!

We just did the usual birthday stuff! Cake and Icecream...

I was WORN OUT after preparing all day long for her party and doing my best to make the day feel special to a two year old! As moms, birthdays are a heck of a lot of work! I can only say she is worth it! Even though this girl brings me to tears some days, and gives me black eyes, and makes me pull my hair out, you get the point, even though she is two and yes they are as terrible as they say, EVEN with ALL of it, I couldn't love this little girl more. She is still my best pal and I adore every ounce of her. She may keep me on my toes but she also makes me a better person and I can't think for a second where my life would be with out her! I was born to be this girls mom! I am so glad she made it to TWO, keep your fingers crossed for THREE!
