Reese 4 months

This is for sure one of my FAVORITE ages. I love how smiley Reese is and how much she kicks her feet, and coo's and baby talks, and follows me where ever I got with her eyes. I love how when she is in her bouncer while I take a shower, she smiles and coos at me but once the glass is fogged up she gets mad until I pop my head out of the shower and she gets all smiley again. I love her fat cheeks and tiny tiny feet. I love how she wakes up happy and goes to sleep with out a fight. I love that she eats more then I ever thought would be physically possible. I love how hard she tries to roll over. I love how she plays with her animals in her bouncer and how mad she gets when she pulls them off and doesn't see them anymore. I think is so dang funny that she is the happiest little person in the world until she is hungry and you have about 30 seconds before she is in a full on raging cry... really it's funny... she has a temper. GOSH I just love her and kiss her all freaking day long because she is chubby and sweet.

The only down side to Reese is that she is so good it's almost too good and Brandon is already BEGGING for another one. Well he can keep dreamin. SERIOUSLY!
We had a 4 month check up and all is well... I love not having something scary to worry about. SO BLESSED.

She weighs 12.1 lbs 

and she is 24 1/2 inches long

I keep thinking she is SO long but I guess Irey was 12lbs and 24 in. at her 4 month check up too! I really can't believe it because Reese seems SO MUCH bigger to me. She for sure eats a heck of a lot more then Irey did! They are starting to look so alike to me. It's crazy.

Having two girls is so much fun! I love it. Irey is a typical big sister, very protective and very annoying. She loves and adores her little sister and loves to make sure and check that I got the bottle if we go anywhere and let's me know she is crying, as if it wasn't super obvious. BUT she also loves to hug her too tight, wake her up when she is sleeping, and bug her when she is sitting content and happy. Yup, they are siblings. But for the most part I can't complain... I mean I could, waking a sleeping baby makes me a MEAN mama bear, BUT I wont because I am sure it could be worse.

 Right now this little munch gut is eating and eating and eating... We started her on rice cereal two weeks ago because formula wasn't filling her up alone anymore.
PS Irey was the WORST eater ever. She HATED rice cereal and hated baby food and I force fed her for months until I was in tears and Dr. Wynn told me that it's all going to be ok! Irey didn't really intake much more then just milk until she was like 10 months old and was able to eat more table foods. She was SO independent that she wasn't content to eat anything until she could feed herself.
SO, when I was giving Reese rice cereal in a bottle and she was thrilled to take it, I was shocked. SO new for me. Then after her check up the Doc said, go a head and start her on veggies and if she does good with that give her fruit in another month.  We tried the veggies, another food Irey screamed at me for giving her (as if I was the meanest mommy in the world) and Reese eats it like a champ! I wont lie, it was a messy ordeal when I fed her while she was in her bumbo, so we switched to the bouncer for now. But the kid ate a whole thing of baby food AND I had mixed in rice cereal to make it thicker, so it was pretty loaded. I get so much satisfaction out of stuffing her little face... weird I know but going from anorexic baby to the never full baby, it's a nice change! So crazy how different they are and so fun to have a change. I honestly love that they are both there own person.
The best part is all this food is giving this girl chubby cheeks and legs. I LOVE a chubby baby!

 Reese is a HUGE big blessing in our lives. I know that I couldn't handle having EBV if she wasn't such a good baby! I know that she will make a great companion to Irey and I am so sure that these two with their angelic faces will be getting in a lot of trouble and getting away with it...
