Thankful for Family

Today I am so thankful for my family. Today Irelyn is four months old. She is becoming more fun everyday. Lately she just jabbers all the time and is all smiles. She is the best little side kick to have. I am sure people find me strange wandering around that mall, grocery store, or wherever talking to my baby. But I cant help it. I love that now she is playing copy cat and trying to make the same noises you make or talk when you talk. She is just all sorts of fun, I am loving this age.

I am so thankful that Irelyn has her cousins. They are all so dang cute and they definitely keep us laughing. I dont think we every expected how chaotic it would be to have three babies under four months and two active boys at the age of four. When we all get together it is just CRAZY, but i am so thankful to have all my nieces and nephews. They are the best part about my family and oh so much fun. I will take crazy as long as we get our kiddos. They are worth it.

Tomorrow is Brandon's 23rd birthday. I am SO very grateful for Brandon. Unfortunately he is often put on the back burner with having a baby and all. But I have been so excited for his birthday so he can have a day to get the appreciation and celebration he deserves. I am so thankful for having a husband who works so hard for his family. Brandon will always take care of his girls no matter what the cost. I am so thankful for how hard working he is. Brandon is so good at getting things done, he works 60 hours a week and goes to school part-time and he still manages to keep up with me and Irey and I never hear a complaint.

Brandon is a great provider and such a hard worker but he is so much more then that. Brandon is my biggest supporter. He makes it possible for me to do my job as a mother, wife, and stylist while also keeping my sanity and a clean house. Brandon is not the kind of man that sees the dishes over flowing in the sink or the laundry mounting up and say, gosh I wonder when Kylie will get that done? Oh no, I will wake up and the laundry is switched out and this dishes are done. I dont know how or why he does it but dang, I know a good thing when I see it and believe me I count my lucky stars. Yes thats right ladies I married prince charming! Yea, he is not perfect. We have our moments thats for sure, but I really think Brandon was made just for me.

I never knew who I was until I met Brandon. He is my better half and there was no me until there was him. Brandon has a big heart and is so solid in the Gospel, I always say he is my golden ticket to heaven. I feel so lucky to have someone to hold my hand through the hard times. Brandon and I first year of marriage has not been easy, I think back on the months of pregnancy where I was so sick i could not get off the bathroom floor and my new husband was always so enduring with me day in and day out throwing up. He always took such good care with me. And now as a father I am so proud of him. He is such a great help with Irey. When I reach my limits, sometimes before I even realize i have, Brandon steps in and takes over so I can catch my breath. We keep climbing our mountains together and I feel so lucky to have his shoulder to lean on. He is my best friend, my someone I have waited for my whole life. I am so thankful that we found each other. I am so thankful that he chose me. And I am so thankful that he gave me my family.
