Summer: Week One

The first week of summer has some and gone. I have set a goal to work out three times a week this summer before I go on my cruise. Well since Brandon works a lot I am not able to go to the gym so I have been running (more like power walking but running has a nicer ring to it) up the canyon! My cousin Andrea comes with me and we have a BLAST while WORKING OUT, two words I didn't think would go together. I would post a picture but Kylie + spandex = NASTY! So I will spare you.

Amy came over this week and we had a pool day at my condo. It was Irey's first time in the pool. She really wasn't sure at first if she liked it. I find that funny because this girl is FEARLESS, but large amounts of water must scare her, go figure. She will have to get over it quick because we are going to the pool lots and lots this summer!



What's been up with Irey? Well Irey is a CHARACTER! She has me laughing all day long. If you spent a day with Irey you would be laughing all day because she is just so FULL of it! This past week she has worn her self out that she would fall asleep in her highchair while eating lunch. It would make me laugh so hard because I would clean off her face and body and she wouldn't even move. She also loves to get into her old car seat. She kicks back in it as if it's her own Irey size recliner. It's just funny to walk into a room and see your one year old kicking back and relaxing!

The weekend was really chill. We had a lot of fun just hanging out at home. We had breakfast for dinner and made it together. Even Irey is wearing her apron. Brandon has one but I doubt he will ever wear one... ever! We had friends over to play Phase 10, my favorite game (Brandon HATES it) and to top it all off we made so homemade ice cream, Chocolate, mine and Brandon's favorite! That is it for our first week of summer. Really not much going on but OH boy there is more to come!
