Summer: Week Two

ST. GEORGE!

There is nothing like a little get-a-way to mom and dad's vacation home in good ol' George! Amy, Jamie, and myself along with our kiddos got outta here and went down to where the sun was shining! We had to flip a U-turn in Benjamin because Jamie wasn't originally planning on coming. But it wouldn't be the same with out her. So once Amy and I had her scrambling to get packed, while making a pleading case to her husband as to why she is leaving him for four days, we were on the road looking forward to some pool time!

The only way I could get a chance to get some sun was to trap Miss Jane on a raft with me. She loved it! As you can see my smart thinking caught on!

These cousins LOVE each other! They had so much fun playing in the bath, giving each other lots of kisses, and taking turn beating each other up and pulling out pigtails! Hello, they are girls and nothing is worse then when they come in three! We cant expect them to get along ALL the time!

Once it was time to pack up and come home we were ANXIOUS! We had missed hubby/daddy very very much and he sure missed his girls!

We got home before Brandon did from work and to my surprise the house was SPOTLESS and there was a little gift for me on the counter. I had broke our camera and he surprised me with a new one! SO SWEET! Gotta love that Hubby of MINE!

When Brandon finally walked through the door Irey was playing in her room, squeeled and came running down the hall with her arms in the air. She really had missed her daddy! It was the cutest thing ever!

Well as if the week didn't hold enough fun for us we came home, unpacked and repacked for a weekend trip to our friends cabin. You think Irey would be so sick of cars and never being at home but she was such a trooper!

Oh yea those hot legs are MINE ALL MINE! My husband is special!

We had a lot of fun with the Tucker's and Caldwell's (our cruising buddies). We had campfire's with smores of course. We played games until Brandon wanted scream. We made some YUMMY home made sugar cookies. We slept, ate junk, laugh till we cried, ate some more junk, played another round of Phase 10, and enjoyed the beautiful cabin! It was a great way to end a crazy week! I can only imagine what week 3 has in store!
