Crusin In Mexico!

Day One:
The plane ride was short, only a hour and a half but it still wasn't quick enough! I felt like a little kid who ask their mom a millions times, "Are we there yet?"

And then after checking in and going through lines and passports and all that crap, we were finally THERE!

We ate got settled in our rooms and just in time for the life jacket safety! LAME.

Buckle up for safety! I felt like I was in high school again trying to figure out a way to skip class. But I was a big girl this time on got on the role and behaved the whole time...

kinda...

Our first night was a lot of fun! Our dining experience was awesome! We loved our waiter and asst. waiter who we called The Bread Master because he was running to keep up with our consumption of bread!

Day Two:
The second day we soaked up all the sun we could! It may not be good for the skin but it is sure good for the SOUL!
We had these studs to rub lotion on us... aren't we lucky (mines on the right, hehe)!?
We went and ate at their yummy burger joint, Johnny Rockets, cute little 50's dinner. It was melt in your mouth YUMMY!

Then we geared up for some serious doge ball competition!

And that night was our first formal night. It was a lot of fun getting all dressed up and looking cute. Not to mention stuffing ourselves silly! This is the story of how I gained 10 lbs!

He is so cute! I am so lucky!

Day 3:
So much fun. We went to Cabo and got on a water Taxi that took us to see the arch and to Lovers Beach! It was beautiful!

Afterward Brandon and I went exploring. We found this awesome Mexican restaurant that had the BEST FOOD! And if your a sea food lover, your mouth would water over this. Of course in honor of my dad we washed it down with some good ol' fashion Mexican Coke!

Then before getting back on the ship we walked the AMAZING beaches and took a swim in the hot ocean.

Every night we came to our room, our room attendant, Sam (the coolest guy on the ship) would make us these cool towel dudes! Gotta love it!

Day Four:
We went to Mazatlan. It was the HOTTEST and most HUMID place I have ever been but we made the best of it. We rented scooters right off and toured around the city riding on a highway that runs along the beach.

We went and looked at beautiful old church.

We found a hole in the wall and bought Mexican cokes for 5 cents and gum for less then a penny! Gotta love it.

Afterward we made our way to the beach. Once we were all watered out we caught a ride in the back of a truck that was a taxi and listened to good ol country music all the way back. I love to be a American!

That night before dinner we went up to a bar at the top of the ship and us girls had some drinks while the boys watched sports. It was perfect way to kick back!

After dinner we went to a show that was like the Newly Wed game. They picked people out of the audience and asked them all these funny questions. The first couple was on their honeymoon. The second had been married for 20ish years and the last couple had been married for 63 years. They were the best to watch. Ralph was the old guy and he was so funny it seriously made me excited to get old with Brandon!

After the show we got in the hot tub and ordered some drinks! Day four was overall the best day of all them!

Day Five:
Puerto Vallarta
When you have as good of a day as day four there is bound to be a bad one. Day five I would like to classify as the day from you know where. It all started with the boat tour we got on, regrettably. It was suppose to take us to this amazing place to snorkel and kiack. Um.... not really anything amazing about nasty snorkel gear and water that was cloudy, not to mention we NEVER went kiacking. Oh but then they were suppose to take up to this PRIVATE beach where we would eat an awesome lunch and ride jet skis... well the food made me sicker then I have EVER been for the next four days and the private beach was anything but. We road on the boat a total of four hours! I wanted to jump over board and drown. Good thing we had Kels to say, "You guys, it's all about the experience." (I love you Kels) I agree with her positive thinking but I could have gone with out the four days of, cant be too far from a bathroom, experience!

On the positive side (I am trying to find one) it was fun for the first hour on the boat! It was the last three that did it.

That night I couldn't have been happier to be on our cruise ship and eating good food. Of course at this point I wasn't sick yet. That came later, along with Murr, Garett, and Lisa!

Day Six:
We spent most of this day eating and laying around the pool. I read two books while on the ship... it is my dream come true to read undisturbed. Then later I started to feel sick and got worse and worse and barley made it to dinner. Brandon got me some medicine and I started to feel better and tried to not let being sick ruin my night!
That night we played ping-pong till one in the morning. It might sound lame but it was a blast.

Day Seven:
I was too sick to do much of anything. I stayed in bed a lot of was feeling worse then the day before. Gar had to pry me out of my room with the jaws of life, or maybe it was just a guilt trip. Still didn't let being sick keep me from laying around the pool!

This is Brandon with Alex our waiter and The Bread Master (he gave himself the name)haha. I wasn't there because I couldn't make it through dinner.

yea... Nasty, I know. This is the face of a very sick woman! Once I got home it was even worse. Dang that stupid tour boat!

Day Eight:
It was time to go home. I was missing my baby so bad I wasn't even sad to leave. I think we will miss our pal Sam the most. Working on a cruise would be the hardest job. We brought Sam dinner every night because the food they feed the staff is crappy. So we made sure he was eating well while we were there! He was the best!

Even with being sick the cruise was a BLAST! I can't wait to go on another one with my family! It is for sure the way to travel. Next time I wont go for as long, eight days with out my baby was killing me!
OH Irey she was so cute when we came home. I thought she would do what most kids do and be mean to me. But she was itching to get into my arms. Since then she has been very cautious about leaving my side! She carried around a picture of Brandon and I the whole time we were gone. It melted my heart. Sometimes it good to know they love you that much, it makes it all worth it!

I had a goal before ours that I was going to workout every morning and I did but I still gained weight!! The food was incredible and your lifejacket pics and trying to get out of it made me laugh. No way! We are leaving for this exact cruise on Friday... I made Ry read this so we could have a little bit of an idea what to expect. Definitely won't do that boat tour in puerto, that stinks!!!

How did you rent your scooter in Mazatlan? We really wanted to do that but then we read all these travel reviews online that said not to do it because of credit card theft, being blamed for a scratch on the scooter, etc. Anyway, it sounds like it totally worked for you two so if you get a minute I'd love to get the scoop on that...
