Boy VS. Girl: Results

I was meaning to post this A LOT sooner, but the pregnancy monster (aka: nausea) got me again and I wasn't feeling like anything, even blogging. I did manage to post it on Facebook, and I hate facebook! But now I am getting in on here in case you didn't know ;)

It's a GIRL!

You know with me, there is a story to tell...

I made my appointment for right after work and of course that put me behind and so I was sweating bullets to get down to Utah Valley from way north Orem via State Street during 5 o'clock traffic. Anxiety through the roof. But by some miracle it all worked out and I made it. But of course my racing heart beat must have lulled that little stinker to sleep because her legs where crossed with the umbilical cord in between and I wasn't seeing ANYTHING other then some really cute poses she made for us.

Well I wasn't accepting this, so naturally I did handstands, cartwheels, and ate a whole bunch of sugar to shake this kid up. 

  I was very desperate!

None of it worked....

Glad to know she is, for sure, super secure in there! Well Heidi, my friend who was doing my ultrasound, had to go to a meeting and couldn't wait any longer, as she was explaining this to me, little girl Blackwell must have clued in because she rolled over just enough to move that DARN umbilical cord out of the way and FINALLY gave us a shot of the goods. 

I guess I am glad to know she is so modest but she is also a stinker because I went through A LOT to get her to move and she didn't move a tiny bit! Gotta love it. She is already 100% different from Irey!

We are SUPER excited Irey is getting a sister and we are even more excited to put those expensive baby clothes to good use again ;) We had a boy name picked out but that will have to be on hold until we can get one of those guys in. Now we are scratching our heads trying to figure out some cute girls names. The problem is with having a name like Irelyn around, it adds a lot of pressure to think of ANOTHER cute original name. Who knows what we will come up with next?!
