Preschool October Activities

Hee Haw Farms:

Irelyn's first preschool field trip was to Hee Haw Farms in the beginning of October. They had a lot of fun activities and the girls had a lot of fun doing something different.

We went into a pumpkin patch and Irey and Hallie got to pick out their own pumpkin. We searched a lot longer then necessary but my OCD daughter finally found the pumpkin she was looking for.

 There was this slide there that Irey LOVED. I thought she would be scared to go down by herself because it was a big slide and really steep but she decided to brave the slide solo! She loved it and after a few goes by herself she asked me to go with her. When I got up there I was surprised she did it by herself so many times because it was so steep it make me kinda nervous. Typical, my three year old is braver then me! haha

 I guess I shouldn't speak too soon because apparently helpless farm animals TERRIFY her! They had these cute little goats, tiny pigs, small cows, all these cute farm animals that were NOT an intimidating size and she was would freak out and cry if she got with in a foot or two. Hallie was just as bad. These two need to get out more!

 They had this cute hay ride and corn maze. The had some people teach the kids about corn and other interesting fun farm facts, gotta make it somewhat educational, right?
All in all it was a fun field trip for Irey and Hallie.

Halloween Carnival:
The Friday before Halloween Irey's preschool had a Halloween Carnival for all the preschool kids. It was impressive carnival and it was a lot of fun for the girls.

 They had tons of games to play, prizes to win, cotton candy, and bounce houses. Needless to say they had a blast and I was loving taking pictures of it ALL, haha.

The preschool puts so much work into making things festive and making things fun for the kids. I am so glad we ended up at this preschool, Irey has loved it!
I love having Irey at this stage and getting to see her experience all the fun of being a kid; it takes me back to my own childhood memories!
