St. George Kids Trip

At the end of February my sister Jamie and I took our kids down to my parents St. George house. The weather was beautiful down there and horrible up here so we packed  up and headed out. I borrowed my in-laws explorer and we squeezed every last one of us in there, 5 kids and 2 adults, it was no easy task!

We tried to take the kids to Pirate Island Pizza only to discover that it was closed. Then we attempted McDonalds but the line was out the door and there was no parking! What the heck!? So we did drive through and looked for a park near by. The best we could do was the small park with this rock climbing wall. Good things kids are easily pleased!

Even though we had the kids with us we did manage to get a little shopping in! Thank goodness Gymboree has a TV in it! Why can't all stores have a kids place?! I would spend so much more money :-)

Even though the weather was beautiful while we were down there, it still wasn't warm enough to go to the pool. The kids didn't care, nothing was stopping them for getting in the water, even if they froze!

Hunter found entertainment in fetching the toys out of the pool.

We went to another park by my parents house and that one was a much bigger success!

 

It was a quick trip but it was a good time! Now I just need a trip with out the kids and with my hubby... ah, hopefully SOON!
