Valentines Day 2012

I love holidays with kids, they make it so much more fun! Even ones like Valentines Day.

  

 For breakfast we made "purple" heart shaped pancakes. They were only purple looking when you cut into them.

 Then for lunch it was a heart shaped sandwich. I am amazed at how much a cookie cutter can make a kids day! They are easily pleased.

 We made Valentines for Irey to take to preschool. She thought that was the coolest idea ever. She had so much fun at school that day, she came home raving about it!

 My mom got the girls a little Valentines gift, a cute little outfit.

 Reese and I decided we would be each others Valentines since Irey was determined to take Dad from me! haha

 She made him a "heart-attacked" V-day card and colored a picture of him and her on the back!

Brandon and I aren't big on V-day but I wouldn't say we are anti either! We don't fight the masses to go to dinner but we did get take out. He did bring me home a rose and he did give me money to buy new bedding for our room. Now to find the bedding hummm.....
Most of the time we don't do gifts for each other but I guess we were in the spirit this year. I gave him a cheesy coupon book that had coupons for.... stuff... and he also got some other stuff.... so yea, I guess my gifts aren't blog friendly but  he had a GREAT Valentines Day too ;-)
I will take any day, even Valentines Day, as a great excuse to show my family I heart them!
