Father's Day

The first time I told Brandon I was pregnant, I was near hysterics. I guess you could say it wasn't something I expected to happen. He was happy and calm. I am sure he was scared but he never let that get in the way of the excitement he felt to be a daddy. I have never cared what gender we would have, I could picture him with both and I imagined he would be great!

But when we found out we were having a girl, it just fit. The second time round, he was hoping for another girl. He knew the ropes, he had the bow matching down, he has succumbed to playing barbies and dolls, and he has broken them into "wrestling" with dad from the time they are babies. He gets his way every now and again, I am pretty sure he has Irey hooked to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and makes us be nerds with him.
He is a very hands on dad. There is no diaper he can't face and knows no fear for taking the girls out somewhere with out mom. He is Super Dad!
For Father's day I planned a "relaxing" day for him. He woke up and got a massage. Then we went to the Sushi House for lunch. He is pretty much obsessed with sushi. Then I made him get his first pedicure. So funny to watch him in that kind of environment. But the pedicure was awesome for him because his feet needed some help!

For my dad we gave him Journey tickets. He was very excited because it forces my mom to go with him. She isn't a fan of concerts but she will get over it because we got him 2!
For Brent, we got him a Gift Card to Happy Sumo. He shares Brandon and I love for sushi.

Sunday morning Brandon woke up to breakfast in bed and relaxing day of no worries. Got a good nap in and spent some time with both our families.
He is the best! We are lucky to have such a great guy. I can't imagine a better dad for my kids and I feel very lucky to have someone who views being a dad as a blessing and is always willing to do any and everything for his girls happiness! Love you Brand.
