Our Long Lost Son, Wilson

I have not been updating my blog as well as I should but it has been crazy this past week. I had Jury Duty Monday and Tuesday. That was such a experience. Not one I want to relive but something that is interesting to do, once. Then Wednesday I spent cleaning my house grocery shopping and running around trying to get ready for Bunco at my house which is what I did on Thursday. Friday Brandon went to the BYU football game to Logan. And the keys that I needed to get into our condo were with him. So needless to say after a long day of work, when you want to go home and put your baby to bed and take a hot bath, I was locked out until he came home at 12:30 am. And just because this week just didn't have enough excitement, I spent Saturday being sick!
I would have to say the highlight of my week was Bunco. And not for the reason you would expect. I introduced my group to my long lost son, Wilson. Of course when you get with a big group of women you talk about your husbands and the funny things they do. Well I was telling the girls that Brandon has this BYU football that he always has with him. When he is not holding Irey, he is holding that dang football. I was telling them that almost every night I go get in bed, Brandon is already asleep, I go to curl up next to him and there he is, Wilson, his football. I call him Wilson because, as I have said before in previous posts, it reminds me of the movie Cast Away substitute the volleyball for a football. I always tease Brandon about it because he takes it with him all around the house, it is curled up next to it when he watches TV, and he cuddles with it when he sleeps. I am sure he would tell you different which is why when I was telling the girls about this they insisted I prove my story and go take a picture. So we stopped the games and I sneaked into our room and took a picture of my cute sleeping hubby with his little guy, Wilson, all cradled in his arms.

As you can imagine we had some good laughs. Brandon had a thing or two to say about me revealing his secrets but over all he is a good sport about it!

That was so dang funny, too bad husbands can't always just cuddle like that with us. It always has to come with something else.

That is so funny! Most people keep a blanket or something like that. I've never heard of a guy sleeping with a ball, that's awesome!
