Yes my little girl is growing up! Such a bitter sweet thing. Irelyn was such a sweet and snuggly newborn and now she is becoming a very active baby. I love this age. If I could freeze time I would right now. She is so much fun!
Just a flash back, this was Irelyn at one and a half months during bath time.
This is Irelyn now at 5 months. Yea she is kinda growing out of her duck tub! It will be a sad day when we retire this duck but, eventually we have to move on and part our separate ways.
Irelyn loves the bath but HATES when it is time to get out and be cold and get lotion rubbed all over her. And Brandon HATES to touch lotion let alone rub it on Irey. But he loves to give her baths.
Irelyn has always been such a good sleeper at night. Since like 4 weeks she has been sleeping through the night. Well as great a sleeper as she is at night, nap time is a different story. She hardly ever takes a nap but gets so tired right around 6 o'clock she cant even hold her head up. She fights sleep SO bad. So I put her in a baby carrier and she passes out! Just picture me trying to make dinner with a baby right front and center. I come up with interesting maneuvers around the sleeping baby on my chest.
She is getting so big! Holding her own bottle, rolling over, and sitting up. She is such a sweet little thing. Her daddy and I love her so much. I could have a whole army of Irelyn babies, but I dont think Brandon could handle even one more baby so we will just stick with our one Irey for now!

Love that tub! And I'm so jealous she hold her own bottle!!! I think we spoil Cassi too much because she's not interested in doing anything. She won't roll over and I can't even fatham her holding her own bottle right now! I love that she's easy going, but maybe she's a little TOO easy going. Oh no!!

she is so precious! I can't believe how fast she's growing up.. I feel like I was just at your baby shower.. and now you have a 5 month old.. soon that will be me! yay! I can't wait. He moves around so much now and pushes like crazy.. I can't wait to be a mommy ! Im glad you had your baby first so now I can come to you for advice! You look great and so does your little baby girl!!Love you Kys! :)
