Irey had her four month check up on Tuesday. I was surprised to find out that she is very small.
She is in the 10% for weight and height. Everyone tells me she was small but I didn't think she was THAT small.
Weight: 12 pounds
Length: 24 inches

She was 24 inches at her 2 month check up and she is 24 inches at her 4 month check up. Humm, and only gained 2 pounds. Yea she is a runt. Who would have thought that such chubby cheeks girl would be such a little might?

Well we are adding some formula in her diet and then in a few weeks add some rice cereal and then some yummy baby food. It's weird, I never thought of Irey having anything other then mothers milk. Ha ha what a learning experience your first baby can be. Irelyn is getting so big (kinda). She is at such a fun age!

The best part about Irey this week is she is FINALY falling asleep by herself. Jamie (thanks again) told me about the three day trick, where you put them to bed and let them cry themselves to sleep and after about three nights they start to get it that when they are put in there crib it's time for bed, no arguing. Well tonight was night three and she just laid there and looked around, no crying, when i went in a few minuets later she was out like a light! YEAH! I love my Irey girl!

LOVE the picture of her in her car seat!! Oh, and we've seen your new ride parked out there and did a little happy dance for you!! I also love the pictures of the three girls - how neat to have two best friends before you're even 5 months old, and last, but not least, am LOVING my hair, but don't look out your window and see it because it needs to be washed and I'm sporting the good ol' ponytail for another day-oh yeah!!

Oh my goodness, I freakin' love the tutu. Mom told me that you brought her to her house in it. I was dyin'! She has become quite a happy baby. All smiles! The picture of her full on grin- totally looks like her daddy. I love it!!
Oh, and YEAH for her sleeping. Now only if Hallie could figure that out. (Who am I kidding? If only BOTH of my kids could figure that out!!)
She is so adorable I love the car seat picture. Props on the 3 day crying thing. We did that and it was pretty hard I hate hearing Boston cry but the older he got the harder it was to get him to sleep.
Can't get over how cute your daughter is... that first picture is my favorite! Isn't it great we have sisters to teach us all the great mommy tricks? we aren't left to figure it all out by ourselves... :)
Ky she is so dang cute. I wish I would have been brave enough to do the 3 day trick. I am still living with the bad decision not to. Emerson loves sleeping in our bed and now that he is over a year it is even harder to break that habit. I am guessing we will work on it for a long time. You are smart!
yes, it is always a relief when they sleep through the night. I remember nights when we just had to let Mae Mae cry! It is a little sad at first, but they get use to it.
kylie, she is gorgeous just like her mom! i had tiny kids too, they were always in the low % of everything!!
meg :0)
The "cryin it out" method works! I did it with my second child and it was the best. She is a beauty!!
She is the cutest thing ever! It was good seeing you guys today. Love the new care by the way! I hope the Nissan gods are with you... because they apparently didn't like us much! We need to hang out again soon!
kylie, question for you. did you buy all of irey's headbands? I'm trying to find the crocheted headband stuff so i can make my own for our baby, but i haven't been able to find it anywhere...and since i'm cheap, i really don't want to have to buy a million at the pricess people sell them for...we have two already, but that's it. let me know!!!!!....p.s. she is sooo stinkin cute! i dunno how you guys stand it! i hope brandon is already working on how to keep the boys away.
Everybody is worried about the little babies except the doctor it seems. Maddie just keeps going down on the charts. She finally fell off the chart at her 18 month appointment, and the doctor is like, "you're small, she's small. It's no big deal." Try telling that to my mom...
