Mamamama! That's right, mama, Irelyn's first word.

Irey jabbers nonsense all the time, so it was surprising for me when I realized that she was saying mama. Then I noticed
bababa (bottle). And now when she sees her
baba she forms a sentence, "
Mamama, babababa, bababa!" At first I was thinking it was random and she didn't know what she was saying. I quickly learned that
mamama was a frequent word used when I left the room and she was mad, or when she wanted me to hold her. And now, every time the bottle is in eye sight she asks for it by name.

Everyone was telling me that they usually sad
dada first, but this girl knows who to suck up to, and she picked the right parent. Now she uses it against me. When I put her down to bed and she is not ready to go she cries and cries for
mamama. When she is sick of playing and wants to be held it's
mamama. I am in SO much trouble! It's so fun to see all the new adventures Irelyn brings to the table. She is my little pal and I am honored that I was her first word. Sorry Brandon, maybe the next kid?
