Since the weather has turned cold Irey has been waiting for a snow day! She will put on her hat, coat, and gloves and go and sit by the window. When I ask her what she is doing, she will say, "Oh, just waiting for snow so I can play outside!" Well this past Sunday when little Irey woke up, she was the happiest girl on earth! Not only was there PLENTY of snow but the Christmas tree was all set up with it's ornaments glittering. She said it was magic! SO CUTE!
I love the snow this time of year. I know a lot of people grumble and hate it but to see the look on my little girls face when she saw all that snow, made it feel magical for me too! Kids make this time of year even better! While dad shoveled the walk, Irey got her snow fix in before church. I also felt very adult that we have a walk way and drive way to shovel and was super Glad to be the woman who doesn't have to shovel... finally something that's NOT my responsibility!
By the way, shopping for TWO girls is more fun then I thought it would be, but also very hard on the checking!

I love the snow, can't wait for Katelyn to be old enough to play in it with me. Your tree is so pretty and definitely compliments your gorgeous house!
