It is a little weird that ALL my sisters are married now but I am more then excited. I am so happy for her, she really and truly did find a guy who is a prefect fit for her and I am excited to see them make a life together.
The weekend before her wedding my sisters and I planned a "girls night" to celebrate the last weekend of her freedom! My mom met up with us and we all get our nails done, then just sisters went to dinner to Happy Sumo (all of our fav), and later that night went to a hotel.
The sad part of the story is that Jamie got really sick and had to leave the hotel and I got really bad acid reflux. But even though we are sad tired little mommies, we still had fun playing games, talking, and just being together as sisters. It is so fun to have my best friends in my family to go do fun things with!
On to the Wedding Day...
The morning of we had a breakfast at Somewhere In Time. It was nice and intimate with all the close family and friends. They had a little program where Jake's Sister Rebbecca sang, Jake's mission companion spoke, I was asked to give a little speech, as well as one of Jenessa's friends who set them up, and of course the Dads spoke too. We weren't able to take pictures and I forgot to have Brandon record it... bummer. But it was good times;)
They were so cute and happy!
Sisters
At her reception they had a ice sculpture... AMAZING!
One of the table center pieces.
Another table... I LOVED the candles and it had little crystals EVERYWHERE!
Candy table, the kids LOVED it. They also had a crape maker, a hot chocolate bar, and then Magelby's catered with desserts and sandwiches. It was all divine!
The fire place with all their beautiful pictures. This is where they stood the whole night while HUNDREDS of guests came through. I have never seen so many people at a reception, it was craziness. But both Jen and Jake had a lot of friends and grew up in the same area their whole life, which means our parents had lots of friends too and apparently there isn't much going on in January on a Tuesday night so I think almost everyone showed up. It was awesome!
The three little
Jen and I ;)
Sisters... we were the bridesmaids luck us, two of us were pregnant and one had just had a baby. The things we do because we love our sister. JK it was a honor to be a bridesmaid.
Little Mia was there too! We are lucky to have so many cute little gals in the family.
Once ALL the pictures were done, the girls FINALLY got to pick a treat out from the candy bar. They were loving it!
Us little Blackwell fam!
Over all I have to say it was a BEAUTIFUL wedding. One the most amazing I have been to, my mom has got skills. Jen and Jake were SO happy. I love to see my baby sister so happy and with such a great guy. The day before their wedding, they closed on their townhouse! They are really ready to start a real life and I can't wait to watch it all unfold, good and bad ;).

I'm so happy for her, Jake was always such a nice guy! Brad and I wanted to get to that reception so bad but our night got crazy busy last minute. We heard it was packed though, so who knows if we would have been able to see everyone. Thanks for sharing the pictures, you all look great, as always!
Love weddings! All you girls (old and young) are so beautiful!
