24th Cabin Retreat

This year for the 24th the Blackwell fam rented a beautiful cabin up in Heber. Brandon, Irey, and I went up and stayed over night. It was so relaxing, a perfect getaway!

There was, of course, a lot of much needed napping, eating, sitting around talking, napping, reading, some more eating (weight watchers, what?), and a whole lot of Hearts.

We played lots of hearts with grandpa Blackwell. He even has his own custom made face cards. He just kicked our butts the WHOLE TIME. This guy is the hearts champ! I don't think anyone could beat him.

When we weren't getting our butts kicked in Hearts we got to ride some four wheelers all around the mountain. It was a lot of fun. I didn't do much driving myself because i ride like a grandma. I have a beautiful scar on my leg from a four wheeling accident so I definitely play it safe. So, pretty much Brandon did most the driving, but I did enjoy snuggling up to the hottie husband of mine!

It was a lot of fun to go up in the peace and quiet. Brandon and I always just do the routine, work and then some more work, so for us it's SO nice to have just a little break where we can put up our feet and relax!
