Day #24

Day 24 – A photo of something that means a lot to you.

This is my Grandma Virginia. She past away this past September. This picture was taken the last time she was in the hospital and coincidentally the last time I saw her at her "healthiest" before she passes away. I had just found out  I was pregnant with Reese and It was a emotional day because I knew that chances were high that Grandma wouldn't be here when she was born.

My grandma and I were really close. She was close with all her grandchildren, she was just a warm and loving person like that. I miss her every day. I never knew how much I would miss our talks or her stories she would tell me when I would cut her hair. I never knew how much I would miss her smile, she always had a smile. I never knew HOW much I would miss being able to serve her and help her. It's hard to put into words the love you feel for someone and it's even harder to find the right words to do them justice. She was a special lady and she means a lot to me. This picture is a treasure to me because it's the last good one I will ever have, it's the last time I saw her be 100% herself, She was making me laugh that day. I will love this picture always.
